Team Introductions – Part II

After having introduced our Board and our Head-Organisers the “Introduction to EYP Austria” series is now moving on to the next big group of active members – the teams and/or assistants! Like every year some of our Board members are being supported by dedicated and hard-working volunteers who take on a variety of tasks within the portfolio.

This time around we are happy to introduce our largest team this year – the PR Team! These lovely individuals are supporting Anna, our Board Member for Public Relations in the areas of communication and graphic design this year. We are so happy and thankful for all the amazing work that they do! You can read their introductions below or very soon on our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/eypaustria/

Communication

Severin

Hello there.  I am Severin new to the pr team and ready give it my best shot. Born and raised in the beautiful city Vienna I am already 19 and studying philosophy at the university here.  I am very looking forward to do some great pr work for our EYP community and be as helpful as I can be. I love to be creative and read, write and play volleyball.

Selina

Hey there! My name is Selina and I am 20 years old. I study law and international law at the University of Vienna and am currently in my third semester. Unfortunately, I don’t have any siblings (although I’ve always wished for one), but I’ve got three cats instead, whom I totally adore. In my free time I love to read and write, play football (although I am not really good at it), meet up with friends and listen to all kinds of music.

Lea

Hey everyone! My name is Lea and I am happy to be part of this years PR-Team of EYP Austria. I am currently in my last year of high school and want to study political science and german studies afterwards. In my free time I love to sing in a vocal ensemble based in my home village as well as discuss current political issues. I am looking forward to realising a lot of cool projects this year!

Theo

Hello people, my name is Theo and I’m a fake Austrian. Being born in Bulgaria and now living in Vienna is one of my interesting facts. Contributing to EYP and giving back to the community that has already given me so much, is my goal for this year’s PR Team and in general, as I’m also head-organising the RSC Vienna 2023, which you should definitely join.

Graphic Design

Anna-Lena

Hi, my name is Anna-Lena and I am 16 years old. I currently attend a school for Art and Design, specialising in Graphic and Communication Design in Graz, which is also where I live.

Aside from school, I play Lacrosse and when there is some spare time left, I like to read, hang out with friends or play the guitar.

I am really looking forward to contributing creatively to the PR Team and implementing a lot of great projects!

Caroline

Hey, I’m Caroline! I am an Austrian student in the Netherlands, a freelance graphic designer and a dedicated EYP cheerleader! Through my skills with graphics I help out with the logos and am a proud member of the PR team! I love art and dancing and cuddling my dog (who doesn’t hehe).

Team Introductions – Part I

After having introduced our Board and our Head-Organisers the “Introduction to EYP Austria” series is now moving on to the next big group of active members – the teams and/or assistants! Like every year some of our Board members are being supported by dedicated and hard-working volunteers who take on a variety of tasks within the portfolio.

We are starting this section of the series of with the NC Assistants Lea and Todor who support our Board Member for Nationcal Coordination (hence NC assistants) Lisa Weinberger. You can read their introductions below or soon on our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/eypaustria/

Lea

Hey people! My name is Lea, I am 17 years old and I live in Lower Austria. It’s a pleasure for me to be part of the Team for National Coordination and I will try my best to contribute a lot to the team. At the moment, I am in my last year of highschool and afterwards I would like to study political science in Vienna. In my freetime, I love to sing with my friends as well as travelling around the world.

My main-task in the team is to coordinate the “Mini-Sessions” we want to organise this year. By collaborating with different schools in Austria, we want to introduce more young people to our organisation and involve them in the decision-making-process. Here, I also want to support the Headorganisers as well as possible. I am looking forward to this year and hope to create many remarkable events and projects.

Todor

Hello people, my name is Theo and I’m a fake Austrian. Being born in Bulgaria and now living in Vienna is one of my interesting facts. This is my second year on the National Coordination Team and I’m super excited to be in it again. Contributing to EYP and giving back to the community that has already given me so much, is my goal for this year’s NC Team and in general, as I’m also headorganising the RSC Vienna 2023, which you should definitely join.

I’ll be responsible for most of the socialisings this year and would be super happy to see as many of you as possible. Diversifying them will be a challenge that I’m mostly up for and hopefully we’ll have many cool socialisings!

Head-Organiser Introduction – Part II

This week we are once again continuing our “Introduction to EYP Austria”-Series by focusing on the second set of the Session Head-Organisers in 2023! Head-Organisers are the ones that shape our Sessions, the main events of the year, and invest much time and effort into the future generations of our organisation.

After having introduced the Head-Organisers of our National Selection Conference a few weeks back, this issue focuses on the Head-Organisers of our Regional Sessions! Todor Lankov will be organising the Regional Session Vienna 2023 and Oliver Beckett will be leading the Regional Session Salzburg 2023. You can read more about them below:

Todor Lankov – RS Vienna 2023

“Hello, my name is Theo and I’m a fake Austrian who is Head-Organising an Austrian session in its capital. Being born in Bulgaria and now living in Vienna is one of my interesting facts and the reason why I chose the session theme “PeacEfUl Collaboration: a European Union  without boundaries”. This is my third year in EYP  and I’m super excited, as well as motivated, to continue participating in this amazing little world. Contributing to EYP and giving back to the community that has already given me so much, is one of my goals of the session. In my free time, I like to play the beautiful game of basketball and from time to time I even find myself running, hence why I’ll give participants the opportunity to practise sports with me throughout the session. Lastly, I think it’s important to state that I’m very excited about the session and I’m hoping to find you there as well!”

Oliver Beckett – RS Salzburg 2023

“Hey there I am Oliver, 18 years old and this years Head-Organiser of the Regional Session Salzburg. Apart from the EYP I am a highschool student with a variety of intrests, like dancing, playing music or fashion. I am so greatful to be able to head organise this session, which has the theme:”socioeconomic EqUality – ensuring a just European society”.  I really want to make the topic visable throughout the session, as this is an EU wide issue which affects a big part of the population. Realising a session, which is accessible and insclusive as possible. I hope you are looking forward to Salzburg 2023!”
