Liebe Mitglieder,
Seit der letzten Generalversammlung am 7. Juni 2014 ist nun schon fast ein Jahr vergangen und daher arbeiten wir fleißig an den Vorbereitungen für die Generalversammlung 2015. Diese wird am 13. Juni im Rahmen des Alumni Weekends auf Schloss Forchtenstein in Neumarkt in der Steiermark stattfinden.
Aus diesem Anlass ist es uns eine besondere Freude, die Wahlen zu den Vereinsorganen auszuschreiben. Im Sinne unserer Statuten werden Mitglieder des Vorstandes, Aufsichtsrates und der Rechnungsprüfung gesucht.
Folgende Positionen werden ausgeschrieben:
- Präsident (Mindestalter: 18)
- 2 Vizepräsidenten (Mindestalter: 18)
- Finanzreferent (Mindestalter: 18)
- 3 weitere Vorstandsmitglieder
Aufgabenportfolios:
- Präsident
- Fundraising
- Human Resources
- International Relations
- National Coordination
- Public Relations & IT
- Treasurer
Nähere Informationen zu den ausgeschriebenen Positionen, dem Zeitplan bis zur Generalversammlung sowie dem Ablauf der Generalversammlung selbst sind in den Ausschreibungsunterlagen zu finden.
Zur Vorbereitung von Kandidaturen stehen alle aktiven Vorstandsmitglieder zur Beantwortung von Fragen via E- Mail zur Verfügung. Zusätzlich gibt es die Möglichkeit, im Rahmen von Skype-Gesprächen mehr über die Arbeit im Vorstand zu lernen und eigene Fragen zu stellen.
Zu folgenden Zeiten finden solche Gespräche statt:

Die Gespräche sind jeweils für ca. 40 Minuten angesetzt. Bitte die jeweiligen Personen im Vorhinein via E-Mail (vorname.nachname@eypaustria.org) kontaktieren, um die Skype-Kontaktdaten zu erhalten.
Diese Gespräche stehen für alle Interessenten offen. Wir freuen uns auf rege Teilnahme!

Wahl des Vorstandes 2015/16

Hinsichtlich unserer Generalversammlung am 13. Juni 2015 in Neumarkt in der Steiermark veröffentlichen wir hiermit die Manifeste der Wahlkandidaten für die Vorstandswahlen 2015. Für jeweilige Positionen aus der Ausschreibung stehen folgende Kandidaten zur Wahl:

Alle außerordentlichen Mitglieder sind aufgerufen, von ihrem Wahlrecht in der Generalversammlung gebrauch zu machen. Die Generalversammlung wird am 13. Juni ab 16 Uhr auf Schloss Forchtenstein, Neumarkt in der Steiermark, im Rahmen des Alumni Weekends 2015 stattfinden.
Das Wählen in Abwesenheit ist durch die Bevollmächtigung eines anwesenden Mitgliedes möglich. Bevollmächtigungserklärung müssen hierzu im Original vorgewiesen werden. Informationen dazu im Programm.
Nähere Informationen zur Möglichkeit der Teilnahme an der Generalversammlung ohne einer Teilnahme am Alumi Weekend werden in den nächsten Tagen bereitgestellt.
Die Generalversammlung der EYP Austria Alumni Association beginnt eine Stunde zuvor um 15 Uhr.

Alumni Weekend 2015: Call for Trainees

We are happy to open the Call for Trainees for this year’s Alumni Weekend, which is to take place from the 12th to the 14th of June at Schloss Forchtenstein in Neumarkt, Styria. This training event will offer various elaborate workshops focusing on Chairing, Organising, Media, and being a Delegate. The trainings will be conducted by Hugo Dürr (SE), Khalid El Ghoul (NL) and Laure Steinville (FR). For more information about the trainings, please refer to the Training Description.
EYP Austria’s Alumni Weekend 2015 will be an outstanding opportunity to develop existing and new skills with the support of our very experienced and approachable trainers. It offers a great chance to get to know both younger and more experienced members of EYP Austria in a challenging and fun atmosphere.
We warmly invite you to be part of this training event! Participation costs will cover accommodation and food for the weekend and amount to € 50,00 per person. Please note that you have to be a member of EYP Austria in order to participate in this event!

Vienna 2015: Call for Individual Delegates
/in NewsDear future delegates,
From the 1st to the 4th of May 2015 the European Youth Parliament (EYP) Austria will be hosting its 16th National Selection Conference in Vienna, to which we kindly invite individual delegates from Austria and Europe. Delegates have to be at least 16 years old to participate.
At EYP sessions delegates will form committees, guided by chairpersons. These committees will participate in professionally planned team building activities and then discuss a challenging European topic. At the end of the session, participants will simulate parliamentary debates in General Assembly.
On the occasion of the 20-year anniversary of Austria’s accession to the EU, the session theme „One in Many, Many as One – Identity in an Integrated Europe“ will emphasise the diversity of individual, regional, national, religious and ethnic identities in Europe. Topics will revolve around these various forms of identity as well as the extent of a shared European identity in the context of the advancing process of European integration.
The session is being head-organised by Julia König (AT) & Maria Köpping (AT) and presided by Christian Macht (DE). They are joined by Jeroen de Marteau (BE) and Marek Navrátil (CZ) as the session Editors.

Alumni Weekend 2015: Call for International Trainers

We have now launched a call for international trainers for EYP Austria‘s Alumni Weekend from 12th to 14th June 2015 in a medieval castle in Neumarkt. We are looking for experienced EYPers to lead the following trainings and workshops:

Vienna 2015: Call for Delegations

From the 1st to the 4th of May 2015 we will be hosting our
16th National Selection Conference in Vienna, to which we kindly invite delegations from schools all over the country. We are looking for 10 delegations consisting of four motivated students, aged at least 16 years old, who are eager to find out more about the EYP.
At EYP sessions delegates will form committees, guided by chairpersons. These committees will participate in professionally planned team building activities and then discuss a challenging European topic. At the end of the Session, participants will simulate parliamentary debates in General Assembly.
The session will be dedicated to the theme „One in Many, Many as One – Identity in an integrated Europe“. A motivated and experienced Team of Organisers led by the Head-Organisers Maria Köpping and Julia König, is working hard to make this Session an unforgettable experience for everyone involved and thereby comfort all your needs during the Session. The competent Chairs Team will be led by the president of the Session Christian Macht (DE). The skillful Media Team, which will create videos, an issue and take a lot of pictures capturing unforgettable memories, will be led by Jeroen de Marteau (BE) and Marek Navrátil (CZ).
