We are thrilled to announce that the Call for Officials for this year’s EYP Days is now open.
EYP Days are mini-sessions that last one day for Delegates and include all typical elements of a session (Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly). With them, EYP Austria aims to get more young people involved in our organisation by introducing new Delegates to EYP. This year, we are especially proud to be reaching out to two provinces that have never hosted an EYP event before: The Tyrol and Burgenland.
All in all, there will be three EYP Days taking place in Linz (Upper Austria), Kufstein (The Tyrol) and Neusiedl/See (Burgenland). Each EYP Day is now looking for an Officials Team consisting of 2 Vice-Presidents, 8 Chairpersons as well as 1 or 2 Photo- and Video-Journalists.
Please note that Officials will be asked to arrive one day prior to the session for Teambuilding and Training.

Call for Delegates for EYP Days 2015
/in NewsWe are proud to officially open the Call for Delegates for all our EYP Days this year.
EYP Days are mini-sessions including all elements (Teambuilding, Committee Work, General Assembly) that last one day for Delegates. They are a perfect chance for young people to get to experience an EYP session and learn what the organisation is all about.
Spots to take part in an EYP Day will be distributed according to a first come first serve principle. Please note that you will receive an e-mail from EYP Austria after the call deadline, which will invite you to come and provide you with further information. Only then, you will have your spot secured. After the deadline you will still be able to register – your registration will be considered if there are open spots to take part in an EYP Day.

Organisers for 2015/16 selected
/in NewsThe selection process for Organisers for all our sessions in 2015/16 has been concluded. For our three EYP Days, three Regional Sessions and our National Conference we received a total of 56 applications from 15 different countries.

Head-Organiser Training
/in NewsOn September 26th and 27th, Head-Organisers and Board Members gathered for EYP Austria’s first 2-day-HOT (Head-Organisers’ Training) in Vienna for a weekend of training, planning and getting to know each other.
During the weekend, Head-Organisers followed Trainings on Fundraising, PR & IT, Budgeting & Accounting and Orga-Team Leadership with Board Members training in their fields of expertise relating to their portfolios on the Board. Furthermore, future cooperation between Head-Organisers and the Board as well as among the Head-Organisers were discussed and milestones in the timeline for the upcoming months were set.
With twelve Head-Organisers representing all our upcoming sessions and six Board Members as well as one external trainer present, the weekend was a big success.
We want to thank all participants for a lovely weekend and wish our Head-Organisers the best of luck on their adventures of planning and carrying out our EYP Days, Regional Sessions and the National Selection Conference in the academic year 2015/16!
Call for Understanding Europe Trainers and one Project Coordinator
/in NewsEYP Austria is looking for motivated young students aged between 17 and 25 to become Trainers or Project Coordinator for our Understanding Europe Project. The trainers will interactively teach young school students about the European Union, its functions and history as well as current political issues. Besides sharing knowledge between the trainers and the students, the Understanding Europe Crash Courses should generally raise interest about European issues amongst students and give an opportunity for discussion and asking questions.
You can send your application for becoming the new Project Coordinator until the 4 October 2015 23:59 CEST. If you want to apply as a Trainer for the project, you have time until the 11 October 2015 23:59 CEST to apply. Due to practical reasons only applications submitted in PDF format will be considered.
