Call for Trainees for the Alumni Weekend 2016

The EYP Austria Alumni Weekend 2016 will be held in Tulln an der Donau from 3 to 5 June 2016 (Friday to Sunday). The event will give Austrian EYPers the chance to develop their skills in high-quality training modules. Furthermore, the programme integrates EYP Austria’s annual General Assembly where the EYP Austria Board for the academic year 2016/17 will be elected, and other important matters will be discussed. The Alumni Weekend will also be an outstanding opportunity to meet and socialise with other EYPers.

We are currently working with a team of great and experienced EYPers to put together an outstanding training programme. Take this unique opportunity to learn more about EYP, gain some new skills and meet fellow EYPers.

We warmly invite you to be part of this great event, and hope to see you in Tulln/Donau in June. Tulln is half an hour away from Vienna by train. Participants will be asked to arrive in Tulln/Donau on Friday, 3 June 2016 after lunch. There will be a participation fee of EUR 50.—. The Alumni Weekend will only happen once this year, so it is advisable to do everything you can to attend. The workshops will be interesting.

Alumni Weekend 2016: Call for Organisers

We are happy to open the Call for Organisers for the EYP Austria Alumni Weekend, which will take place in Tulln/Donau from 3 – 5 June 2016, thus being EYP Austria’s last event of the academic year 2015/16. “Save the best for last!” is what they say, and even though the bar has been set high we would love to welcome you to the Organising Team and give you an opportunity to help shaping an unforgettable weekend. The event will feature high-quality trainings and EYP Austria’s annual General Assembly. It will also be an opportunity for new EYPers to get to know EYP Austria as well as a chance for more seasoned Members to socialise with their old friends.

As organising an Alumni Weekend does not entail as much work as preparing a session, the Organising team will be able to dedicate more time to the little details that will make this EYP event special. We are looking for people of various levels of experience to join our small team. Tasks include managing food, venues, materials, evening activities, and joy.

The team will be lead by Toni Dirlinger and Raphael Bek.

If this has not sparked your interest yet maybe this will: this year’s Alumni Weekend will take place in the beautiful city of Tulln. Almost as enticing as the idea of being part of this Organising Team, is the prospect of spending a weekend in late spring in a city that has been awarded Europe’s most beautiful flower city twice. Certainly you do not want to miss out on adding your personal flowery note to this weekend!

Call for Head-Organisers for the Alumni Weekend 2016 extended

The Call for Head-Organisers for our Alumni Weekend 2016 has been extended until Wednesday, 13 April 2016, 23:59 CEST.

The Alumni Weekend is an important event for our National Committee. It is a weekend for both training and socialising, thereby leaving a lot of room for creative ideas and innovative concepts put together by the Head-Organiser(s). Similar to last year, we also want our General Assembly 2016 to be included in the programme of the Alumni Weekend.

With your application, we want to get to know you, understand your motivation to head-organise and get a grasp of your vision for EYP Austria’s Alumni Weekend 2016. To apply, please fill in the application form and submit your (joint) application to applications@eypaustria.org. Due to practical reasons, only applications submitted as PDF files will be considered. Late applications will not be accepted.

We are excited to launch our last Call for Head-Organisers for the academic year 2015/16. Following the National Youth Summit in Salzburg and the International Forum in Vienna, the Alumni Weekend will be EYP Austria’s last important event of this season and we are looking for one or two motivated individuals who would like to lead a team of Organisers and put together an unforgettable weekend for our Members.

Call for Media Team Members International Forum Vienna 2016

We are thrilled to announce that our Call for Media Team Members for the International Forum Vienna 2016 is now open.

Three years after EYP Austria’s last International Forum was held in Graz, the time has come to organise the next one, taking place in the beautiful Austrian capital Vienna from 18 to 24 May 2016.

We are now looking for seven Journalists, one Photo Editor, one Video Editor and one Editorial Assistant on IT to join Tom Wolfskämpf’s team. Due to full support by the German OSCE Chairmanship in 2016, we will have travel reimbursements up to 150 € for all Officials and European Delegates.

Please note that Officials will be expected to arrive one day prior to the session.

Be part of an extraordinary event, that does not only stand out by its beautiful venues, great funding and its high academic quality, but will also have a more international flair than ever, with Delegates arriving from all OSCE participating states.

Call for Delegates International Forum Vienna 2016

We are proud to open the Call for Delegates for the International Forum Vienna 2016 for non-European countries and European countries in which there is no EYP national committee.

It has been almost three years since EYP Austria’s last International Forum was held in Graz. Now we are excited to organise the next one, taking place in the beautiful Austrian capital Vienna from 18 to 24 May 2016 with the programme starting on the 18th and only departure on the 24th. This event is a part of a bigger project of the Schwarzkopf Foundation, the EYP’s international umbrella organisation, to discuss topics related to the OSCE. The forum is supported by the German OSCE Chairmanship 2016 . We will be welcoming participants from all the participating States of the OSCE, varying from Iceland to Canada and Mongolia, with no participation fee and travel reimbursements from 150 to 500€ per person depending on your home country.

The Call for Editor(s), Vice-Presidents and Chairpersons for the International Forum Vienna 2016 has been extended. The deadline for all positions is now Friday, 11 March 2016, 23:59 CET.

Three years after EYP Austria’s last International Forum was held in Graz, the time has come to organise the next one, taking place in the beautiful Austrian capital Vienna from 18 to 24 May 2016.

We are now looking for one or two Editors, two Vice-Presidents and ten Chairpersons to join Oscar Stenbom’s team. Due to full funding by the OSCE via the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs we will have travel reimbursements up to 150€ for all Officials and European Delegates.

Please note that Officials will be expected to arrive one day prior to the session.
