UNESCO Youth Survey and Webinar on Climate Change Education

In collaboration with young people UNESCO is developing lesson plans to make sure that all students have access to knowledge, skills and values on the topic of overcome climate change.

That is why UNESCO is encouraging everyone between the ages of 12 and 25 to participate in their survey about climate change education by the 8th of August, to express their opinion on the subject. The outcome will be presented at the COP27 in Egypt this November and it will also be used to develop the UNESCO guide for a green curriculum which will be presented at COP28 in 2023.

Furthermore, every last Tuesday of the month UNESCO is hosting a UNESCO-UNFCCC-Webinar in the topic of climate change education for social change: on the way to COP27. The first season of these webinars will tackle the question of how the transformative power of climate change education can be used in preparation of COP27.

We encourage everyone to take the time to fill out the UNESCO climate change education survey and take part in the webinars!
