Team Introductions – Part I

After having introduced our Board and our Head-Organisers the “Introduction to EYP Austria” series is now moving on to the next big group of active members – the teams and/or assistants! Like every year some of our Board members are being supported by dedicated and hard-working volunteers who take on a variety of tasks within the portfolio.

We are starting this section of the series of with the NC Assistants Lea and Todor who support our Board Member for Nationcal Coordination (hence NC assistants) Lisa Weinberger. You can read their introductions below or soon on our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/eypaustria/

Lea

Hey people! My name is Lea, I am 17 years old and I live in Lower Austria. It’s a pleasure for me to be part of the Team for National Coordination and I will try my best to contribute a lot to the team. At the moment, I am in my last year of highschool and afterwards I would like to study political science in Vienna. In my freetime, I love to sing with my friends as well as travelling around the world.

My main-task in the team is to coordinate the “Mini-Sessions” we want to organise this year. By collaborating with different schools in Austria, we want to introduce more young people to our organisation and involve them in the decision-making-process. Here, I also want to support the Headorganisers as well as possible. I am looking forward to this year and hope to create many remarkable events and projects.

Todor

Hello people, my name is Theo and I’m a fake Austrian. Being born in Bulgaria and now living in Vienna is one of my interesting facts. This is my second year on the National Coordination Team and I’m super excited to be in it again. Contributing to EYP and giving back to the community that has already given me so much, is my goal for this year’s NC Team and in general, as I’m also headorganising the RSC Vienna 2023, which you should definitely join.

I’ll be responsible for most of the socialisings this year and would be super happy to see as many of you as possible. Diversifying them will be a challenge that I’m mostly up for and hopefully we’ll have many cool socialisings!
